<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a waiting time when restarting playback from a playback stop position about content whose video playback is controllable by a program operating on a virtual machine. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 120 determines from playback control information recorded in an optical disk 101 whether a virtual machine use type content recorded in the optical disk 101 as a recording medium is a first kind of content whose video can be played back both when a program operating on the virtual machine is active and when the program is not active or a second kind of content whose video can be played back only when the program is active, and makes a playback part 110 restart video playback from a position at which the video playback is stopped without activating the program when the virtual machine use type content is the first kind content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
