<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a two piston Stirling engine highly efficient and securing high output power. <P>SOLUTION: An outlet 13 of heating side cylinder 10 is communicated, via a cooling side passage 51, with an entrance of a cooler 70 communicated with an introduction port 22 of a cooling side cylinder 20, and an outlet 23 of the cooling side cylinder 20 is communicated, via a heating side passage 41, with an entrance of a heater 60 communicated with an entrance 12 of the heating side cylinder 10. In an expansion cycle in the heating side cylinder 10 and a contraction cycle in the cooling side cylinder 20, both of the heating side passage 41 and the cooling side passage 51 are closed, in a state where the communication between the heating side cylinder 10 and the cooling side cylinder 20 is blocked, energy, due to expansion by heating fluid and due to contraction by cooling, is taken out as the kinetic energy highly efficient and high in output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
