<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guidance device, an operation method of the route guidance device, and a control program such that even when branch points succeed, a branch point whether a turn should be made is instantaneously determined. <P>SOLUTION: A route guidance device includes: a route search unit which searches for a route from a current place to a destination; a data dividing unit which divides the route into a plurality of sections with a branch point group present in the route; a data dividing unit which generates data after division; a branch point determination unit which generates an ongoing direction at each branch point; a graph generation unit which generates graph data representing correspondence of lengths by the respective sections based upon the data after division; and a display unit which displays the graph data. The graph data includes bar graph data having a plurality of bars corresponding to the respective sections. The graph generation unit specifies bars indicating sections where right and left turns are made as right- and left-turn bars based upon the ongoing direction data, and generates the bar graph data so that the specified bars are displayed in a color different from that bars indicating other sections. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
