PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition that can be melt-molded into various types of molded products and has the ability to block infrared light.

SOLUTION: The objective can be achieved by the polyester composition that contains 2.5-40 wt.% of inorganic particle compound, wherein the refractive index of the inorganic particle compound is 1.6-5.0, and the primary particle sizes of the inorganic particle compound is 0.6-5.0 μm.
