<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly sewing machine that can easily move an irradiation position of a reference mark thrown on a sewing machine bed or a processed fabric to a position desired by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A controller of a sewing machine specifies a movement direction and a movement amount when a user designates a reference mark and moves it to a desired direction with respect to an image of the reference mark shot by imaging means (Steps S23 to S27).
