<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system and method, and a display system which can reduce a period and a calculation amount required for correction processing and blur in an image after the correction processing. <P>SOLUTION: An image having pixel information in first and second directions different from each other is corrected only in the first direction on the basis of correction data. The correction data is, for example, data for correcting distortion of a display image occurring in a display device.
