摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle congestion rate prediction system for predicting a congestion rate of each vehicle of a train for each unit time of each station. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle congestion rate prediction system includes a congestion rate prediction device which can be connected through a communication line with a plurality of automatic ticket gates installed in respective stations of respective routes and a user terminal. The link of a ticket gate ID and a vehicle number and the number of times of arrival and departure of trains at the respective stations are stored in a database beforehand. When passing through the automatic ticket gate, entry/exit information is acquired and registered, whether respective passengers go up or down is determined on the basis of the entry/exit information in a predetermined period, and the number of entry/exit persons of an up-train and the number of entry/exit persons of a down-train for each ticket gate ID and in each unit time are counted. The number of the entry/exit persons of the up-train and the down-train for an extracted date are respectively averaged to calculate the average number of the entry/exit persons of the up-train and the down-train. On the basis of the information, the respective number of boarding vehicles of the up-train and the down-train in each unit time at the respective stations are calculated, the number of boarding vehicles is divided by a capacity number, and the congestion rate of the respective vehicles are calculated and displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
