<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a good transmission state by switching relay methods according to a transmission environment. <P>SOLUTION: A relay device 400 relaying wireless signals transmitted/received between a transmitter and a receiver, comprises: a reception unit 401 for receiving wireless signals from the transmitter; a transmission unit 406 for transmitting the received wireless signals to the receiver by using a first method amplifying the received wireless signals or a second method performing data decoding and data re-encoding from the received wireless signals; and control units 402, 403 and 404 for, based on a predetermined evaluation index including an evaluation value for a transmission environment between the transmitter and the relay device 400 and an evaluation value for a transmission environment between the relay device 400 and the receiver, performing control to switch from/to the first method to/from the second method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
