<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an image forming method, allowing small-lot printing inexpensively and high-quality printing. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device 100 includes: a plate roller 1, on a surface of which a material having reversibly changing hardness at a transition temperature as the boundary is provided; a micro-structure roller 4 which forms a fine structure formed of a plurality of fine holes on the surface of the plate roller 1 heated to or above the transition temperature and softened; a thermal head 5 that smoothens a portion corresponding to a non-image region of the surface of the plate roller 1 having the formed fine structure by heating to or above the transition temperature and softening; an ink supply roller 6 that supplies ink onto the surface of the plate roller 1 where the portion corresponding to the non-image region is smoothened; and an air knife 7 that removes ink of the portion corresponding to the non-image region of the surface of the plate roller 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
