<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fasten a frame ground wire to a housing without enlarging the physical frame. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 includes: a housing 20 to which a frame ground wire 24 is fastened; a circuit board 8 which has a terminal part 8b protruding to the exterior of the housing 20 and connects lead wires 25 connected with the terminal part 8b with a coil wire 7; and a box shaped cable clamp 21 having a fixing part 21a, which allows a cable 22 including the frame ground wire 24 and the lead wires 25 to be inserted therein and fixes the cable 22 to the housing 20, and covering a connection part 29 between the lead wires 25 and the terminal part 8b and a fastening part 30 between the frame ground wire 24 and the housing 20.
