<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption in a hybrid vehicle capable of achieving a continuously variable transmission mode. <P>SOLUTION: A control device (100) for a hybrid vehicle is a control device for the hybrid vehicle (1) which can achieve the continuously variable transmission mode. In this case, the control device for the hybrid vehicle includes: an optimum thermal efficiency calculation means (110) for calculating optimum thermal efficiency based on the number of revolutions and the torque of an internal combustion engine (200); an estimated thermal efficiency calculation means (120) for calculating estimated thermal efficiency based on the number of revolutions and required power for the internal combustion engine; a means calculating a difference in thermal efficiency (130) for calculating a difference in the thermal efficiency between the optimum thermal efficiency and the estimated thermal efficiency; a determination means (140) for determining whether the difference in the thermal efficiency is a prescribed threshold or larger; and a means for controlling the number of revolutions (150) for controlling the number of revolutions for the internal combustion engine to be the number of revolutions in an optimum fuel consumption line when the difference in the thermal efficiency is a prescribed threshold or larger and controlling the number of revolutions for the internal combustion engine to be retained when the difference in the thermal efficiency is not the prescribed threshold or larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
