<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording apparatus in which an editing position of a moving image can be determined through intuitive operation, and a television receiver. <P>SOLUTION: A video recording apparatus includes a display unit and a touch panel which is provided while overlapping a screen of the display unit and edits a moving image recorded on a recording medium on the basis of operation from the touch panel. The video recording apparatus further includes: extraction means which extracts a plurality of images from the moving image, respectively, at each of a plurality of different time intervals; display means which displays the plurality of images extracted by the extraction means on the screen in a different mode for each group of images extracted at the same time interval; and determination means which determines an editing position of the moving image on the basis of positions, on the screen, of the plurality of images displayed by the display means and a touch position detected by the touch panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
