<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyetheretherketone resin that has excellent heat resistance, mechanical characteristics such as abrasion resistance and toughness, chemical resistance, optical characteristics, and electrical characteristics and provides a molded article exhibiting stable electrical characteristics without significantly decreasing electrical resistance even when high voltage is applied/discharged over a long period of time when made into a semi-conductive resin composition containing a conductive filler, and to provide a method for producing the resin. <P>SOLUTION: The polyetheretherketone resin having a diphenyl sulfone content of 5 ppm or less, the resin composition containing the polyetheretherketone resin and preferably the conductive filler, and the molded article, such as a charge controlling member, are provided. Also, the method for producing the polyetheretherketone resin is provided, which includes performing heat treatment of polyetheretherketone resin powders at a temperature not lower than the glass transition point but lower than the melting point of the resin in air or in inert gas or performing heat treatment in pressurized water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
