COMPOUND LINE, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of machines constituting a compound line while efficiently operating the compound line including a cold rolling mill, or downsize a facility.

SOLUTION: This compound line includes: a winding/rewinding machine for winding/rewinding a metal sheet provided for rolling processing; a welding machine installed on the downstream side of the winding/rewinding machine for welding a metal sheet newly supplied from the winding/rewinding machine to a previously supplied metal sheet; a reversible cold rolling mill installed on the downstream side of the welding machine for rolling a passing metal sheet; an intermediate looper set on the downstream side of the reversible cold rolling mill for accumulating the metal sheet; and a continuous processing facility arranged on the downstream side of the intermediate looper for applying a predetermined process to the metal sheet having passed through the intermediate looper.
