<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device that facilitates alignment between a hole and a check ball. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device 1 includes: a rotary member 3 formed in a case shape, in which lubricant is stored; a cylindrical part 7 provided at an end of the rotary member 3, to which a connecting member 5 is fixed; a partition wall 9 provided at the bottom of the cylindrical part 7 to partition the rotary member 3 to an inner part and an outer part; the hole 11 provided in the partition wall 9, through which the lubricant is stored in the rotary member 3; and the check ball 13 incorporated to the hole 11 to close the rotary member 3.
