<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for protecting an outdoor receptacle capable of dealing with a thief of electric power while using an existing outdoor receptacle installed on a wall outdoors, as it is. <P>SOLUTION: A cover for protecting an outdoor receptacle can deal with a thief of electric power while using an existing outdoor receptacle installed on a wall outdoors, as it is, by openably coating the whole of outdoor receptacle 1 installed on the wall of a building.
