Aqueous composition comprises: (a) at least one crystalline or semi-crystalline polyurethane polymer; (b) at least one polyisocyanate having aliphatically bonded isocyanate groups; (c) at least one compound of fifth and sixth transition group elements, where the element has an oxidation state of at least +4; and (d) optionally other additives and auxiliary agents. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing the aqueous composition, comprising introducing the component (c) during the preparation of the components (a) or (b) into respective components; (2) an adhesive system comprising the aqueous composition; (3) use of adhesive system for bonding leather, ethyl vinyl acetate, rubber, polyurethane, polyamide, and polyether polyamide; and (4) a substrate bonded with the adhesive system. |
