<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic component having an excellent corrosion resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A metallic component 200 has a configuration in which a protective layer 220 having a corrosion resistance is provided on a base material 210 having a metallic surface. The protective layer 220 includes a triazinethiol derivative that is chemically bonded to a metallic element L included in the surface of the base material 210. In the triazinethiol derivative, a network structure that is cross-linked by the ions of a metallic element M is formed.
