<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake device capable of inhibiting rattle noise in traveling and clonking noise in braking. <P>SOLUTION: In a floating type disc brake device having a pair of slide pins, a pressure plate of an outer pad is fitted by recesses/projections to the claw part inner surface of a caliper. Penetration holes for passing a pair of slide pins are provided on the outer pad to enable braking torque by the outer pad to be supported by the slide pins. The relationship of a pitch between centers of a pair of the penetration holes with a pitch between centers of the slide pins is set in such a way that one slide pin arranged to the rotor rotating-out side becomes a preceding torque receiving portion or a following torque receiving portion. At least at the side becoming the following torque receiving portion of a pair of the slide pins, a pad clip is provided that generates an urging force that presses the inner circumferential surface of the penetration hole of the outer pad to the slide pin.
