THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion material which has a reduced heat conductivity, can suppress reduction in electric conductivity and improve thermoelectric performance index in whole, and a method for manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion material is characterized that p-type bismuth telluride is deposited on an almina substrate having independent fine pores in a thickness direction of the substrate (1), and the method for manufacturing the same comprises a step for forming the almina fine pores (1) and a step for depositing the p-type bismuth telluride.
