<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper for use both in offset printing and gravure printing in which occurrence of a missed dot, that is, a lack of halftone dots, may be prevented and a coated layer exhibits sufficient strength in the gravure printing and the coated layer is never peeled off and a large cost merit is attained in the offset printing using an offset ink. <P>SOLUTION: Coated paper comprises at least one coated layer formed on base paper, the coated layer includes 60 parts by mass or more of kaolin having an average particle size of 1.0 to 1.6 μm, 7 parts by mass or more of latex working as a binder, and 0.5 part by mass or less of starch based on 100 parts by mass of entire pigments included in the coated layer, and a surface of the coated layer has smoothness, defined in accordance with JIS P8151, of 1.1 μm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
