<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a variation in ejection characteristics between inks is generated, since, when a multicolor head has structure with a drive IC arranged on a common flow passage, the heat generation of the drive IC outputting a drive signal to an inkjet head increases a temperature of ink in a common flow passage forming member on which the drive IC is mounted to make the ink in the common flow passage forming member with drive IC be lower in viscosity than ink in a common flow passage forming member with no drive IC mounted thereon. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet head includes a plurality of liquid droplet ejection means constituted of a laminate of a nozzle plate, a discrete fluid passage plate, an actuator substrate, and the common flow passage forming members. In the inkjet head, at least one of the plurality of common flow passage forming members is separately formed, the drive IC is mounted to an upper part of at least one of the plurality of common flow passage forming members.
