<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when attempting to make television viewing compatible with video telephone speaking, howling occurs while viewing the same television program. <P>SOLUTION: When programs under viewing are matched between an opposite-side set and a present set, a TV telephone control unit 160 of a television set 100 controls an echo cancel unit 140 so as to cancel speaking voices received from the opposite-side set and television voices received by the present set and outputted from a speaker 134 from voices inputted from a microphone 144 (speaking voices received from the opposite-side set, television voices received by the present set and outputted from the speaker 134 and speaking voices around the present set) and when programs under viewing are not matched, the echo cancel unit 140 is controlled to cancel the speaking voices received from the opposite-side set from voices inputted from the microphone 144. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
