<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell manufacturing method capable of manufacturing an electrode with high activity. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a fuel cell (100) includes an application step for applying a liquid electrode precursor (40a) containing an organic metallic compound on a solid oxide type electrolyte layer (30), and a radiation step for radiating energy lights in an ultraviolet region to the electrode precursor (40a). The electrolyte layer (30) may be formed on an electrode (20) supported by a metallic support (10).
