<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum washing machine with low vibration and low noise. <P>SOLUTION: A drum washing machine includes: a washing machine housing 23 which elastically and swingably supports the lower side of a water tank unit 37 of a vibration system including a rotary drum 17, a water tank 19, and a motor 21 by a plurality of dampers; an acceleration sensor 34 disposed at a water tank 19 and capable of detecting vibration components in a plurality of directions; control means 31 for controlling motor 21 and the like to control each of processes including washing, rinsing and dewatering. The dampers include a supporting damper 25 for supporting and suppressing vibration of the water tank unit 37, and a vibration-proof damper 26 for suppressing vibration of the water tank unit 37. The vibration-proof damper 26 and the acceleration sensor 34 are disposed at a back side than the center of gravity in front-back direction of the water tank unit 37 and the supporting damper 25 is disposed at a front side than the vibration-proof damper 26.
