<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid-substance impregnated electrolyte membrane, which can adjust an amount of a proton conductive liquid substance which is excessively contained in an electrolyte membrane to a degree not adversely affecting power generation performance, and to provide a liquid-substance impregnated electrolyte membrane type fuel cell having the liquid-substance impregnated electrolyte membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid-substance impregnated electrolyte membrane includes a constituting step and a compression step. The constituting step includes: sandwiching an electrolyte membrane 2 containing the liquid substance having a predetermined amount of proton conductivity between two sheets of first membranes 3 having water repellency, acid resistance and heat resistance; arranging porous second membranes 4 which holds the liquid substance flowing out of the electrolyte membrane 2 and has heat resistance and deformability, around the electrolyte membrane 2 or the like; and further sandwiching the electrolyte membrane 2 or the like between two sheets of third membranes 5 having rigidity, thermal conductivity and acid resistance. The compression step includes applying a predetermined pressure on a component which has been adjusted in amount of the impregnated liquid substance and is produced in the constituting step under a predetermined temperature condition for a predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
