<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste paper treatment apparatus improving work efficiency in waste paper treatment by dispensing with a worker standing by or taking it back. <P>SOLUTION: The waste paper treatment apparatus includes a treating part 2 for carrying out destruction treatment of waste paper P, and a paper supply part 1 for continuously supplying the set waste paper P to the treating part 2. The paper supply part 1 includes an upstream paper supply part 11 and a downstream paper supply part 13 arranged in a paper supply direction and connected. When the waste paper P is set, the upstream paper supply part 11 automatically supplies all the waste paper P to the downstream paper supply part 13. The downstream paper supply part 13 is provided inside a sealed apparatus body 101, and stores the waste paper P supplied from the upstream paper supply part 11 and furthermore supplies the waste paper P to the treating part 2.
