<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery electrode with a low internal resistance, and a battery with excellent charge/discharge efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The battery electrode comprises a collector, i.e., a metal porous body having a three-dimensional network structure, and an active material.
