摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a low cost illumination device capable of obtaining a novel illumination effect without increasing a dedicated space. <P>SOLUTION: A panel 11 is disposed that covers, at predetermined intervals, an infrared-emitting light-emitting diode (LED) 10 on a circuit board PWB. The panel 11 is formed by a light-transmitting resin produced by kneading and molding with a fluorescence substance that emits fluorescent light in a visible range when excited by an ultraviolet light emitted from the LED 10. The surface of the panel 11 has a light-shield printing applied for visually shielding various electronic components mounted onto the circuit board PWB. The light-shield printing is only applied on the surface of the panel 11, not on any edge surface of the periphery of the panel 11. The panel 11 secondary-emits in a fluorescent color in accordance with the irradiation of the LED 10, and the emitted light travel through the inside and is guided to the edge surface of the periphery of the panel. A fluorescent color illumination that lights the edge surface of the peripheral of the panel 11 with the guided light is capable of uniformly lighting the entire edge surface, and is different from an LED directly illuminating, thus obtaining a novel illumination effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
