<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing apparatus which can print a well-balanced printing label onto a pasting object. <P>SOLUTION: The tape printing apparatus 1 has an enlarged printing function in which an enlarged printing image greater than the tape width of a long tape T is divided into a plurality of images, they are successively printed on a plurality of tape parts, and a plurality of printing labels formed by printing are arranged in parallel in the direction of the tape width, thereby forming an enlarged printed image. The tape printing apparatus 1 allows pasting object information to be selected, thereby obtaining information about a selected pasting object (S101). Further, information about the tape width is obtained (S102). Then, according to the information about the pasting object and the information about the tape width, an enlarged printing magnification is determined (S103).
