<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine capable of molding a good product from an initial time of molding cycle, and to provide a molding operation start method of the injection molding machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the molding operation start method of the injection molding machine which has a nozzle sealing plate movable between a sealing position where a nozzle of the injection molding machine for injecting a resin to a cavity of a mold from the nozzle provided in the tip part of a cylinder of an injection unit is sealed and an evacuation position where the nozzle is not sealed, it is determined whether manual measurement to a measurement position has been carried out by applying back pressure. When the manual measurement is carried out, continuous molding operation is started, and when the manual measurement is not carried out, the nozzle sealing plate is moved to the nozzle sealing position (SA01, SA02), the cylinder is moved until the nozzle sealing plate is touched with the nozzle, the manual measurement is started, the cylinder is moved back by a predetermined distance (SA03 to SA06) to cancel the nozzle touch of the nozzle from the nozzle sealing plate, the nozzle sealing plate is moved to the evacuation position, and the continuous molding operation is started (SA07, SA08). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
