<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping portion of a general purpose combine harvester, which has a simplified arrangement constitution, has improved maintainability, and ensures good visibility in the right front direction during reaping works. <P>SOLUTION: A reel transmission system 30 is composed of a belt type continuously variable transmission; the belt type continuously variable transmission is arranged at the right side rear portion of a right reel arm 53R; a reel-driving transmission system 32 is arranged at the right side front portion of the right reel arm 53R; the reel transmission system 30 and the reel-driving transmission system 32 arranged at the right side of the right reel arm 53R are covered with a reel arm cover 60; and the lateral width of the reel arm cover 60 is formed so that a front cover portion 60b covering the reel-driving transmission system 32 is thinner than a rear cover portion 60a covering the reel transmission system 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
