CONTENT DISTRIBUTION METHOD, RELAY DEVICE AND CONTENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce network and distribution server loads by executing data distribution by proxy using a device nearer to a user terminal rather than a distribution server.

SOLUTION: A content distribution method in a relay device which relays content distribution from a distribution server to user terminals includes: a step in which the relay device receives a data acquisition request from a user terminal; a step in which the relay device stores information on access to a distribution server addressed in the received data acquisition request in an access information storage unit which keeps access information per distribution server in memory; and a step in which the relay device acquires content from the distribution server based on the access information stored in the access information storage unit and stores it in a content storage unit inside the relay device or an external cache server of the relay device.
