<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately inspect target labels formed by using various character fonts while accurately detecting incomplete printing. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of kinds of label master data 21 each including specific characters disposed at four corners of a label and coordinates A to D corresponding to positions of the specific characters, and each created by using a prescribed character font is stored in memory means 12 of a label inspection system. The label inspection system further comprises a character/coordinate detecting part 13 for detecting specific characters and coordinates corresponding to positions thereof in label data 31 to be inspected, and a character font extracting part 14 for extracting, from the label data to be inspected, a character font used in a target label. An inspection part 16 of the label inspection system inspects the specific characters and the coordinates thereof of the label data 31 to be inspected comparatively with one of the label master data 21 using the same character font as the extracted character font. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
