<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupon issuance system capable of imparting fragrance to a coupon with high contribution to sales promotion of a commodity and promotion of re-coming of a customer. <P>SOLUTION: A POS system 1 having a coupon issuance function includes a POS register 5, and a printer 8 that is communicably connected to the POS register 5. The printer 8 includes: a coupon database 34 that stores and holds a plurality of coupon print data in a form associated with fragrance; a coupon selection issuance part 35 for, on the basis of settlement information transmitted from the POS register 5 to the printer 8 to print a receipt, selecting coupon print data from the coupon database 34 and issuing a coupon from the printer 8; and a fragrance imparting mechanism 20 for, after the coupon print data is printed on a recording sheet 17, imparting fragrance corresponding to the coupon print data to an area of the recording sheet 17 to be issued as a coupon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
