<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a progressive power lens which hardly causes shaking of an image viewed through the lens. <P>SOLUTION: In a progressive power lens 10 for eyeglasses including a far sight part 11 and a near sight part 12 each of which has a different lens power, surface refractive power OHPf in a horizontal direction and surface refractive power OVPf in a vertical direction of the far sight part of a surface on an object side along a vertical reference line passing through a main fixation line 14 or a fitting point Pe, surface refractive power OHPn in the horizontal direction and surface refractive power OVPn in the vertical direction of the near sight part of the surface on the object side along the main fixation line or the vertical reference line, and surface refractive power IVPf in the vertical direction of the far sight part and surface refractive power IVPn in the vertical direction of the near sight part of a surface on an eye side along the main fixation line or the vertical reference line satisfy the following conditions: (1) OHPf>OVPf, (2) OHPn>OVPn, (3) OVPf>OVPn, and (4) IVPf-IVPn>OVPf-OVPn, wherein the surface refractive power IVPf and the surface refractive power IVPn are absolute values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
