摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the air-fuel detecting device of an internal combustion engine capable of detecting an air-fuel ratio under an uniform detecting condition for each cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: The air-fuel detecting device includes a double pipe exhaust manifold 20 in which a hole 32 for allowing flow of an exhaust gas to a space S in the branch pipe part of an inner pipe 30, an expansion part 34 expanding to the inside of the inner pipe in a collecting pipe part, and an inner mounting hole 36 in the expansion part 34, and an outer mounting hole 42 in an outer pipe 40 are formed; and an air-fuel ratio sensor 50 which has a cylindrical casing 54 covering a detection body part 52 in which an intake hole 55 is formed in a base part and an exhaust hole 58 is formed in the tip part. The air-fuel ratio sensor 50 is mounted in the collecting pipe part such that the tip part of the casing 54 protrudes from the expansion part 34 to the inner side of the inner pipe 30, and the intake hole 55 in the base part is located in the space S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
