<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing valve which is provided with a joint function unit capable of reducing the diameter of a clamp ring to connect a pipe and airtightly seals the joint function unit without causing deterioration in sealing performance. <P>SOLUTION: The joint function part 20 includes a cylindrical joint body 21 which constitutes one end of a flow passage 13 in a housing 10; a cylindrical clamping member 32 engaged with the joint body 21 so as to be threaded; a metallic clamp ring 40 surrounding a pipe P inserted into the joint body 21; and a diameter reducing means 54. The closing valve A includes a sealing member 60 which is attachable to and detachable from the joint function part 20, and restricts the flow of a refrigerant in the joint function part 20 in a noncontact state with the seal area (first biting part 49 and second biting part 50) with the pipe P in the clamp ring 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
