<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plunger pump reduced in the number of components of the plunger pump and also reduced in the manufacturing manhours thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The plunger pump 1 includes: a pump body 100 having a cylinder hole 10 formed in a reduced diameter part 11 and an enlarged diameter part 12 and formed with a seal groove 15 on an inner circumferential surface of the enlarged diameter part 12; a plunger 30 reciprocating within the cylinder hole 10; and a seal member 40 externally fitted to the plunger 30. The plunger 30 has a sliding part 31 sliding within the reduced diameter part 11 and a projecting part 32 projecting into the enlarged diameter part 12. The sliding part 31 is formed with a holding part 33 reduced in diameter. When the seal member 40 is located at the position of the holding part 33, the outer diameter of the seal member 40 is reduced smaller than the inner diameter of the enlarged diameter part 12. When the seal member 40 is located at the position of the projecting part 32, the seal member 40 is closely contacted to the inner circumferential surface of the seal groove 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
