<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake device whose structure is simplified to be able to manually move out of a brake operating state with a single action by adopting a clamp mechanism using an elastic body. <P>SOLUTION: In the parking brake device, a service rod 8 is provided in a piston on a service chamber side, the service chamber constituting the parking brake device. A parking rod 9 is provided in a piston on a parking chamber side, being arranged facing the service chamber side. One of the service rod and parking rod is slidably inserted into a guide formed in the other. A step 8a is provided at the end of the rod inserted into the guide.
