<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of preventing sound from being interrupted and cut off to comfortably listen to the sound of television broadcast. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device includes: sensitivity determination means for determining reception sensitivity of television broadcast; switching means for switching selection of one-segment broadcast or full-segment broadcast in accordance with the determined reception sensitivity; setting means for setting a selection image display mode for displaying an image other than the television broadcast while receiving the television broadcast; display means for displaying a selected image other than the television broadcast when the selection image display mode is set, and for displaying an image of the one-segment or full-segment broadcast selected by the switching means when the selection image display mode is not set; sound output means for outputting sound of the one-segment or full-segment broadcast selected by the switching means; and switching control means for controlling the switching means so that the sound of the one-segment broadcast is selected when the selection image display mode is set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
