摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate film roll suitable for a decorative sheet for adding design to the surface of a resin product and a resin component such as an automobile interior and exterior product, furniture, a home electrical appliance, a signboard, a cosmetic case and jewelry. <P>SOLUTION: A biaxially-oriented polyethylene film roll has 10-38 &mu;m film thickness and &ge;900 mm film width and comprises polyethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate. The mean value of planar orientation coefficients (NS) in the film width direction is within 0.240-0.254 and the variation thereof is &le;2.0% and the film thickness deviation is &le;15% in both the film forming direction and width direction thereof. In a method for forming the biaxially-oriented polyethylene film roll, a stretching step in the width direction is divided into a first-half stretching step and a second-half stretching step. Each of a first-half width stretching speed and a second-half width stretching speed is within 0.10-0.41 stretch times/second and the stretch ratio is within 3.0-4.5 times in both of the film forming direction and width direction thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
