<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pruning saw reducing labor of a worker. <P>SOLUTION: This pruning saw 10 includes a single-edged saw body 2 fixed to the edge of a long operation stick 1. Furthermore, the pruning saw 10 includes a swing plate 3, a clasp plate 4, a first spring member 5, and a second spring member 6. The swing plate 3 is rotatably connected to the edge of the operation stick 1. The clasp plate 4 is rotatably connected to the edge of the swing plate 3, and has an edge intersecting the saw body 2 and extending. The clasp plate 4 has on one side edge, a plurality of thrusting blades 4a to thrust into a branch Br, and cuts the branch Br by reciprocating the saw body 2 in a condition that the thrusting blade 4a holds the branch Br.
