<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner with improved charging property and offset performance, which is melted by heating in a fixing device and can decompose a volatile organic compound having an odor volatilized from the toner, and to provide an image forming device using the toner. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a toner with improved charging property and offset performance that can decompose a volatile organic compound having an odor volatilized from the toner when the toner is melted by heating in a fixing device, only by adding a predetermined amount of calcium hydroxide to the toner.
