<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device that provides an excellent steering feeling with low noise and is easily used in combination with a backlash removing mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A worm wheel 19 serving as a deceleration gear includes an annular gear portion, an outer ring 53 integrally rotating with the annular gear portion, and an inner ring 54 integrally rotating with a steering output shaft. A rolling body 55 imparted with a precompression directly applied from both of the curved concave portions 56 and 57 is interposed between first curved concave portions 56 in an inner circumference 531 of the outer ring 53 and second curved concave portions 57 in an outer circumference 541 of the inner ring 54, and curvature radiuses R1 and R2 of both of the curved concave portions 56 and 57 are larger than a curvature radius R3 of the rolling body 55. When the rolling body 55 reaches the end parts of both of the curved concave portions 56 and 57, a relative rotation between the outer ring 53 and inner ring 54 is restricted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
