<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare map data on an indoor area and, on the basis of the prepared map data, to measure radio wave environmental data while autonomously traveling a route designated by an administrator. <P>SOLUTION: A system comprises: a ranging sensor 207 that measures the distance to a surrounding wall face in each direction; a reception power measuring unit 203 that measures at predetermined constant intervals of time the reception power of radio waves from an access point set up in an indoor area; a reception power determining unit 215 that determines the magnitude of the reception power data measured by the reception power measuring unit 203; a map data preparing unit 217 that prepares map data of the indoor area from the distance data measured by the ranging sensor 207; running drive means 208 and 209 that autonomously run the system's own data along a traveling route designated according to running data provided by a server; and a motor revolution control unit 216 that controls the traveling speed of the robot by regulating the revolution speed of a motor 209 constituting one of the running drive means on the basis of the determination result of the reception power determining unit 216. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
