<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple reinforcement method of beam ends, which uses no welding and no processing of a column; and a reinforcement structure of beam ends. <P>SOLUTION: A reinforcement method of beam ends 4 to be joined to at least both sides of a column 2 formed of steel material comprises joining fixing members 10 to the downside of the respective beam ends 4 with bolts, and arranging a tendon 12 to be applied with tension between the fixing members 10. This allows the tendon 12 to resist to the tensile stress in the lower flanges of the beam ends and not to resist to the compressive stress, so that tension fracture properties of the beam ends can be effectively improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
