PURPOSE: A water drain plug for a vehicle is provided to prevent the inflow of foreign materials and drain water at proper timing by composing not to be affected by outside wind and forming the cross section of an elastic membrane valve into arch shape. CONSTITUTION: A water drain plug for a vehicle comprises a plug body(10) and an elastic membrane valve(20). The plug body comprises a drain hole(11) formed in the lower center portion. The plug body is installed in the opening portion for draining of a vehicle panel. The lower surface of the drain hole forms lower inclined portion(11a) inclined downward. The elastic membrane valve is made from elastic rubber materials for opening and closing the draining hole and formed into arch shape.
