PURPOSE: A split type housing for a milling roller bearing is provided to reduce the time for replacing milling rollers by assembling housings on both sides of a milling roller to a housing support in order to make the milling roller detachable from a rolling mill. CONSTITUTION: A split type housing for a milling roller bearing comprises a housing support(10) and a housing(20). The housing support includes a base(12) and a joint(15) integrated into one body. The joint is formed in a semicircular shape having an internal protrusion(13) and side connection holes(14). The housing comprises a center hole(21) for receiving a bearing, a connection hole(22), an internally threaded hole(23), a threaded hole(25), and a semicircular coupling groove(24). The bottom of the housing is coupled to the housing support. A coating layer is formed on either the coupling groove of the housing and the protrusion of the joint by electroplating or spraying.
