摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual line position-estimating system capable of easily and highly precisely estimating a visual line position in a global coordinate system. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 40A of the visual line position-estimating system 1A includes: an observer coordinate-calculating section 41 for calculating observer coordinates on the visual line position of an observer for a figure included in an image captured by a field-of-view imaging device 30 on the basis of captured images of eye ball-imaging devices 10L, 10R; a partial figure-extracting section 42 for extracting a partial figure corresponding to the observer coordinates of the view line position in a captured image in the field-of-view imaging device 30 on the basis of the observer coordinates at the view line position; a memory section 43 memorizing the relationship between the figure and the global coordinates in advance; and a global coordinate-estimating section 44 for determining the portion in the memorized figure to which the extracted partial figure corresponds, by matching the extracted partial figure with the memorized figure, and estimating the global coordinates of the view line position by referring to the relationship between the figure and the global coordinates on the basis of a result of determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
